Tika Mary for a girl (pronouced tea -- ka)

I believe that you gave the boy a strong name, one that will carry him into his profession and will be respected. (don't mix them...they are good the way they are..:O)

However Tika....sounds like a barbie cute and sweet....Mary is strong....

just my thoughts....

best wishes

I like Tika (short for Martika...a girl I knew in school)), but I'd change the middle to Marie.

I don't like Cohen at all. What about Timothy Gerald? Jeremy is fairly common around here. (If you are looking to be different).

Cohen is a pretty good name. It's unique. I think you should stick with Gerald and Timoth if they mean so much to you. I woud switch them around though.

For thegirls name. Tika reminds me of a Tiki torch. I don't know if thats a bad thing but ya know. It also reminds of Teacup.

I like Timothy Gerald.
Tia Marie would be better for a girl.

I agree with the first response here. Tika is cute, but I think it looks better as Teaka...but that's completely up to you!! Just something to consider! For the boy, I think the middle names are good, especially because they are namesakes. I just can't get into Cohen, though. I think it's because it was one of my college professors last names. I really like Conner or Collin, though.

why not? i gave my daughter two middle names because of name sakes. the only thing i have found that i don't like is often the second middle name is dropped by everyone (schools doctors offices etc) i don't know if i like mary with tika. maybe tika maria? i don't know.

I like the boys' name. I like Jeremy too (not the other spelling, which is a bit too like Geronimo).

I think Tika may be a mistake ... you could be setting her up for a school-life of teasing by being called "chicken tikka" (a type of dry Indian curry).

i'd drop the cohen and call him either gerald or timothy. i like jeremy too. Cohen sounds more like a last name. Tika Mary is ok. but it's your child so you should call him/her what you want.
