Yes, I remember those days. It was nice, people got along better with each other, neighborhoods were safer. You bet I remember.

You may not ask a whole lot of questions but when you do they're good ones. Glad you asked them. If I may use something from you ((((((BIGHUG)))))))

Old enough to remember alot of things that have been forgotten today.
Never would you ever hear a woman say the words that women, and I say that word loosely, say these days. Even the men never spoke "bad" words in the presence of a woman.
What has happened is people have no respect anymore. Not for each other nor themselves.
You have to give respect to be able to recieve it. People just don't care anymore and it is truly SAD...
I hear ya, honey.

Yes. I remember when there was no cussing at all allowed on TV or radio. I even remember when you couldn't show a married couple sleeping in the same bed on TV and the word "pregnant" was banned from TV also. You also couldn't show a woman's bellybutton on tv. Now, anything goes!

We need to get back to some real morales and values.

I do remember when life was better and children did not cuss in place of nouns, verbs and adjectives.

It makes me sad to be posting my thoughts beneath a vulgar copy of a nice person who has a much higher level here on answers.

I am only 27 and can admit that things have changed very quickly, even from my teenage years. I like the fact that people can be open now, but some people have just lost all respect.

Ex: It is fine to say, "Hey, I'm gay", but not "I like penis!"

It really depends on who you are around and the situation.

When their parents turned into crack heads & let them run the street or never taught them manners & self respect etc.
Maybe it happened because good old spankings over the knee were made illegal.
