I dropped a candle I had just blown out on my Mother's couch a long time ago, and to avoid being strangled (just kidding!), I had to come up with a solution quick! I grabbed my sister's hair dryer with the diffuser attachment, and swept back and forth over the spill until it started softening. Then, I placed my thumb on the wax, and began lightly rubbing it. The wax, now softened, rolled up under my thumb, and fell away harmlessly onto the floor. I hope this works for you as it did for me!

Hi
There is two ways to remove wax from upholstery
1/ Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can .Use a dry clean white terrycloth place it over the wax spot then heat it with a iron on low setting because you doen't want to melt the upholstery. Keep checking the spot every ten seconds or so, moving the terrycloth so that a clean spot is on the upholstery.
2/ Which is the better way. Use the edge of a butter knife to carefully scrape off or lift up as much solid wax as you can Heat up a full kettle of water and pour it slowly on the upholstery, at the same time with a wet vac vacuum up the water. Keep on doing this until the wax is removed.
