This has happened to me on more than one occasion not really a $100 but a $10 or $20; and without thinking I gave it back. However afterwards I wanted to kick my own @ss. I blame my parents for teaching me to be so damn honest. If they hadn't taught me to eat just think of all the money I could have saved. Parents teach you a lot of bad habits.

I have always returned money. If the cashier gives too much back I make sure they know about it and give the extra back. It's not mine and I didn't earn it so why try to cheat someone out of it. Would you want that to happen to you? I think not.

I'll stop them if I see the person dropping it. I could be on some hidden camera.

But I'll take it if I don't know who dropped it.

i would stop them. i have seen it many times especially in casinos, people drop money, credit cards, cell phones,etc... i always stop them.

(sometimes ive stopped them and they have turned around and been really rude like "what the hell do you want?" ---that makes me want to say "oh, nevermind" and take their money, but i just cant do it)

I would surely stop them and give it back to them, even if they don't answer to the name "Mr. Hamilton".
