You'll be fine, and the baby too. At 4 + months, you still have a lot of room to play, plus, your body is built to deal with these things. Breathe, relax, take hot (not too hot) bath, get some reat. You'll both be alright. If there's any change in movement, it's most likely because your baby has fallen asleep, is resting him/herself. Don't worry til it's been more than about 6-8 hours, o.k.?

when I was pregnant, any time I was at the doctors office, they pushed and pushed on my stomach and gaave me bruises once or twice. Also, they turned the baby through my stomach and pushed down HARD to do so, with no harm to the baby. More than likely, the baby is fine. Just make sure the baby still moves like normal and that you aren't having severe pains or leaking any fluid. If any of these happen (or if your fears don't subside), call your doctor IMMEDIATELY. It's better to be safe than sorry, and no doctor will be upset at you for calling in the middle of the night if you are concerned. Honestly, I'm sure that everything is fine... but call the doctor if you feel that something is wrong.

If you mean that you see the baby moving from side to side and the whole "bump" is moving too that is normal. With my first son my husband and I would be entertained watching him go back and forth. However, I don't think pushing on the baby is a good idea. I would be concerned I was pushing on their head. I know that mother's body is very protective, yet I wouldn't want to take any chances.

I am sure your baby is ok especially at this stage in pregnancy, your baby is pretty well protected at 17 weeks. If you can feel the baby move I am sure he/she will be fine. You can always call your doctor in the morning to ease your mind.

As long as there's not bleeding, you should be fine. Babies are pretty resilient during their earlier weeks because they have so much protection from the amniotic fluid (acts as a shock absorber) and the amniotic sac. Just mention it to your doctor at your next appointment.

yes, if you aren't having pain or spotting, you are fine. Just mention it to the doc next appointment. people have done lots worse, and the baby was fine. My sis fell face first down a flight of stairs and even though we insisted on calling the paramedics, both she and my neice were fine.

I don't know anything about that, but it makes me so excited to hear you're feeling your baby at 17 weeks. I honestly cannot wait to feel my baby move inside me! I have to wait 4 weeks though :( Shouldn't you know the gender by now? I ask because you're asking about boy/girl names. Or are you waiting till birth?

i presumed it grow to be any incorrect way round, like you won't be able to dye your hair once you hit the second one trimester. And my cosmo instructor would always make the pregnant ladies no remember what trimester to get a observe from the docs in the experience that they needed to dye their hair. only take it up which includes your health care professional. that is your superb shot.

Should be fine. It takes a lot to harm a baby in utero. Call your doc if there is a reduction in movement from the baby or discomfort for you.
