Can anyone provide me information on the 1990's TV series "INVENTION?"?

I think it originally aired on A&E or Discovery. It was a half-hour format and usually had a few features on specific inventions/inventors. At the end of the show they played an old newsreel clip. It also had some tie-in with the Smithsonian. Thanks
