One Tree Hill
I love both but OTH deals more with teens issues and has adult issues also. Drugs, alcohol, murder, sex!!!!!!!!!!
7th Heaven is a wonderful family show.... and it deals with some of the issues but mainly on the family level. But it has lost alot of its appeal with all the kids leaving completely, not just moving down the road.
OTH has alot more drama.
BTY, what do you think of the story line now? I think things are about to get a little wild.

One Tree Hill is a better television show. The characters live in Tree Hill. They are a basketball oriented community. So of course it takes place during and after school with kids and parents dealing with life decisions. Friendship and trust are the issues. Old school sweethearts. A hateful father who doesn't want to acknowledge his other legitimate son who plays on the same team with his current son. Causing both sons to resent each other. Eventually the mothers meet and put it all on the table. Lies become unraveled of how he left the legitimate son in Tree Hill when he found out his mother was pregnant in high school during the start of his new life of playing basketball in college. Where the father later(in college) meets the other lady and gets her pregnant bringing her back to Tree Hill where his legitimate son lives with his mother. Bulling is discussed and how school shootings accrue. Separation of clicks. Friends betraying each other over lust. A fathers determination to make his son the super star he wasn't. Just an all around great show. I watch 7th heaven occasionally. Ruthie is who really changed my mind about watching the show. She seems like an embarrassment to the family not Mary. Mary is older and Ruthie the child. But, over the years it has went down hill for me.

Neither... Gilmore Girls all the way, because its funny and you have to be smart to understand it. 7th Heaven has been on for way to long, the only good seasons are the first few. And I've never really seen too much of One Tree Hill. (The only episode I did see was the one with the shooting last year). So I'm not gonna down on it cuz I don't know, but I say Gilmore Girls all the way!!!

One Tree Hill! 7th Heaven (old episodes) were better but recently it has lost it's focus!

Both can be tedious at times but I like 7th Heaven, it's my tv secret! One Tree Hill puts me to sleep.

One tree hill is way better. 7th Heaven is dull and unimaginative.

hmm...that's a bit tricky...
i like One Tree Hill more than 7th Heaven, but sometimes i find it a bit boring, and &th heaven kinda cuter
and then there are times when i get fed-up of BOTH of them!!

7th Heaven. though i watch both, but 7th Heaven has more good stories to share, focused on family staying together, family values, reconcillation, etc.
