Well, I never first meet someone and I am like "oh my gosh, I don't like the way they look so I won't even get to know them.." or anything like that.
Now, at first glance I would be like "ohhh he seems nice and has a nice smile" or something like that.
I never truly genuinely like a guy until AFTER I have known them for a while, getting to know their personality.
I LOVE funny guys, so if he can make me laugh, he has my heart! <3 lol.
Now there have been times when I first meet a guy I think nothing of it and then I become friends with him and I fall for them and I never thought when I first met them that I would like them in a romantic way.
But sometimes first impressions aren't accurate. Sometimes someone will look really mean or you think you won't like them and they end up being the exact opposite of what you first thought!!! :)

No, unfortunately, I think no matter if the person is nice, to me, it's what I experienced that shape the way I view people, or my mood, rather than if they were really genuine or not. Also, since I'm in college, sometimes, I don't have time to go out alot and meet many people. much less have the interest. Most of the people I bump into anyway are 18 or 19 years old. no one my age.

It is natural although very unfair that we judge people by their looks right off the bat.
We tend to stereotype people in this manner. Better looking people get better opportunities by the way they look.
Lets face it, good looking people attract good looking people and not so good looking people attract not so good looking people.
Of course remember that how you feel about yourself limits how you view other people.
For example, it you are great looking, you are more critical of the looks of others. If you are average looking, you are in awe of those better looking, however your would look and or settle for someone more average looking because you do not feel you would have a chance with someone great looking.
This unfortunately is human nature.

I never judge anyone at face value or even after I begin to know them.
