When a baby first starts to grow it is neither male or female, so all parts for both sexes are placed as "blanks" and later when hormones start to work, the baby will develope the attributes of a a male or female.
also, some men get sexually aroused when their nipples are stimulated, just as a woman does.
Want to hear something really weird? Some men have been known to produce breast milk!

The answer is that as embryos men and women have similar tissues and body parts. If anything the embryo follows a 'female template'. That is why nipples are present in both sexes. It is the effect of the genes, the Y chromosome and the hormone testosterone that brings about the changes and masculinises the embryo. Testosterone promotes the growth of the penis and testicles. Because nipples are there before this process begins the nipples stay!

Every egg in a woman's ovaries are female (x's).
Men produce male and female sperm (x's and y's). If he fertilizes the woman's "x" ovum with a "x" sperm, the baby will be a girl. If he fertilizes the woman's "x" ovum with a "y" sperm, the baby will be a male.
So, even though an ovum is fertilized, and becomes a male ... it did, in fact, start out as female, hence ... the nipples/breasts.

Because when a baby is formed at first it's neither male of female. So we get the same features. We also have hymens. It's weird but true.. haha... they lie useless near our prostate. Anyway, I think my chest would look pretty weird w/o nipples..
