Justice was suppose to be swift but it's not most of the time. I think once a person is found guilty without any doubt they should put a bullet in their head and move on to the next one. If I raped or killed someone I wouldn't expect any less myself.

I say line up all these serial murderers and rapists and "off with their heads". As soon as they are guilty..they are just that..guilty. Why waste my tax dollars on them anymore? We talk about humane, and inhumane...was there any humanity in how they murdered and raped people? I highly doubt it.
I suppose folks would be so forgiving, so willing to allow appeals..so much in agreement with letting these sociopaths live when it's their family member they have pained, perhaps even tortured to death. Juries? They should be composed entirely of family members of their victims..who better to judge?
They say that atheists turn to god at the moment of death (which I believe is out of desperation)...killers probably do the same thing...they repent...
humane private or inhumane public...whats the diff? as long as it's an execution.
The punishment should fit the crime...

I believe in what u say the quicker the better for all of society as a whole. As taxpayers we save, as victims and family members left behind to carry the cross of the perpetrators crime we close a terrible chapter sooner, and as the perpetrator he isn't given the chance to appeal and it will deter future criminals to stop their hideous acts against society. Our judicial system is a joke and the rest of the world is sadly following in our suit.

Not many murderers would think so they don't reflect on consequences less they would not have killed ? In other words it only serves to make non criminals think so . the Criminal mind is not so easily cured .Maybe a life sentence would deter more as most murderers don't give a damn about the gallows .and this also could serve as a vent for murderers who say they kill us why shouldn't we too. If money is an honest concern put the criminals to work and profit from their misfortune they've earned it .

What makes you think any type of execution is either Humane or inhumane. The end result is the same. One dead person that goes through their own personal hell while being executed . Hurts just as much either way.

i dont agree on the "do it quicker" part, everybody deserves an appeal, but to make a public spectacle of the whole thing would be great!!! I believe it would make crime rates go down, they also need to involve more creative punishments, maybe make a reality TV show out of it :] :] :] :]

'Giving' them death is not humane, under any circumstances. Kill them, yeah, if it's the law and some of us don't agree with it, but killing and humane don't go in the same sentence,,,,, unless of course we are talking about end of life wishes for the terminally ill.

I don't think any kind of execution is "humane" that's a complete contradictory term. Two wrongs don't make a right. I think it's quite barbaric and medieval. My answer is neither. If you want to save tax dollars get rid of war.
