For what reason and how old were you? Do you think it changed you and your relationships w/others?

I was 17 in senior year of high school, parents were moving off base and very far from school I was attending.It changed the relationship to even worse between parents and myself, due to the fact they didn't give a crap how it would affect me and my schooling. I was working at a part-time job, but when rent is $200.00 + utilities, school supplies,food, clothes , graduation supplies, my vehicle,which I also had to take care of...It made me a more independant person. It also caused me not to rely on any one for fear of being let down and that I could trust no one .p.s. I am woman.....

I was 27 when I moved out on my own. No, it didn't change relationships with others in the family.

I was 16...Had a huge party at my parents house when they went away, the old lady across the street from me rated me out and my dad kicked me out...after that I got hooked on drugs for 3 years until I had my first son at 19. I'm 31 now with a Wife and 3 kids and I haven't touched any drugs since. Did it change my life I'd say Hell Ya!!!!!

I had to plan to live with my Mom for a long time as we made good roommates but a job forced me across town and the commute was too brutal so I moved out and got a place of my own when I was 20!

I moved out when i was 18. Got married.
Been married for 25 years.
I have a wonderful family.

When I got married at 18. Yes it changed me a lot, grew up real fast. No regrets at all.
