I think it is very possible and i have a few theories about subterranean life on Mars, first Mars has a number of volcano's on it's surface and over time many of these volcano's have been active, now i believe where there is volcano's there are lava tubes and lava tubes could be just the environment for Martian life forms to exist after all who is to say the lava tubes don't contain water and shelter from the elements, i also think that perhaps the most advanced life form we will find within Mars is a slug type life form that breaths through it's skin and can hibernate for long periods of time. however i can't prove this so who cares.

I'm going to say yes there is life on mars. However life probably exists as prokaryotic organisms. I highly doubt intelligent life form has developed as there is no trace of intelligent life forms. Obviously mars as a planet isn't necessarily fit for humans to live on because of the thin atmosphere but I think it's very possible for single-cell organisms to exist on that planet.

definitely possible.Temperature is one difficulty. With an average of -81F and lows of -220F, it's difficult for any life to withstand the freezing temps of winter. However, with the discovery of more and more "extremophiles" on Earth, it's lends credence to the view that some organisms like bacteria might be able to eek out an existence on mars, especially if they had specifically adapted over time to the martian conditions.

Let the space researchers find out. Meanwhile we hold on to the belief that there is no living thing in Mars.

it is obtainable, yet why is it mandatory that an alien clever species on yet another planet had to breath oxygen? or breath in any respect? in spite of respiratory, or lack thereof, i might guess against the nuclear reactor concept, yet ive been time-honored to be incorrect, yet not very regularly.

If I was a betting man, I'd say yes. No, it won't be dinosaurs or furry creatures, but something simple certainly seems plausible.
