I live in Alaska near the water and there was an 8.2 earthquake on an island near Russia now we are getting tusnami warnings the news isnt telling us much and the web site was fuzz and I missed it please pray for us up here. Please if you know the web site let me know

check the web site of the t.v. and radio stations. there has to be some type of weather station on the internet, there should b an emergency station on t.v., radio...hell go to the neighbors or call ask them what you missed. the police station or your emergency resources should have advice. i know that 211 is an info line throughout the u.s. you can call it for anything and from any payphone for free. they can look for emergency "shelters" in your area. Get in your car and get to driving, if you can get on an airplane then go.

First of all, best of luck to you. I heard that animals knew before the Asia tsunami struck. If you have animals around, watch their behaviour.

I would leave your area right away if it's going to be that bad...obviously you still have internet so go to weather.com and it can give you updates with radar and everything...be safe...my thoughts and prays are with you and your family...
