Even today, most astronauts are Navy or Air Force Officers. They graduate from their respective academies with degrees in engineering. Quite simply put, NASA need only look at people in the 99.9th percentile in math, science, and physical conditioning to fill their rosters for years to come.

I work at NASA...to go into space takes more than being good at math and physics. To answer your question though, yeah you could join NASA, but you won't go into space....maybe a janitor. :P
Otherwise, stop being lazy and GET GOOD AT MATH AND PHYSICS.
