Yao Ming and Dwight Howard. Amare is more of a swing/forward type player in the Suns system.

It's always been a big man's game, without the brief stretch in the 80's and 90's with magic, bird, jordan if you look at the past the dominant big guys have ruled. They had to change the rules of the game because of some of those guys. Imagine how many points Shaq could score if there was no 3 second rule, probably 50 a night in his prime. I like Howard and Amare but they don't have that unstoppable post game yet, I also think Yao has a tremendous upside especially if he is aggressive, I mean think about it, if that guy ever figures it out he would be pretty dominant.

amare isn't as much of a post as howard and oden, but those are the three obvious ones. amare is much better farther away from the hoop, greg oden still doens't have many post moves, but with his size, strength, and athleticism he's gonne be unbelievable once he gets it together. howard is the best right now, mostly because he's a true center (unlike amare) and he has good offensive skills (unlike oden). we need to wait on amare and see how he does voer the next 2 or 3 years coming back from microfracture surgery, and oden needs to still develop, especially offensively and we also have no idea how he will do against the kinds of big athletic 7-footers you find in the nba and not in college. in about 4-5 years those guys are all going to be running the league, barring any injuries and assuming amare comes back all the way

Howard is pretty intimidating down low. No one can guard howard? then how come US lose in the worlds last August? He is not totally dominating the post yet(may be against GSW he did....). Shaq did dominated the post, and that was when there were true centers(david robinson/ewing/olajuwon) were playing, and mutombo was young.....
Oden gotto develop some hook shot or turn around jumper. Else he will become a Bill Russell instead of a Kareem/Wilt.
People are saying Eddy Curry is quite dominating down low but i cannot picture him even going to playoff, let alone winning a ring.

You answered the question yourself.
No one can guard Amare or Howard now, and they are still young enough to get better!
