There is no excuse at all for anyone being beaten or abused! It is a felony and there's no way that it can be looked at any other way! I was living in a neighborhood once that my neighbor across the street was beating his wife... her kids ran over to my house and asked me to call 911... they were terrified! I did make the call and he was arrested... but after that the wife felt sorry for him and took him back and who knows what happened when he got mad again.. he was mad at me for a long time, but I would do it again if I had to! He could have literally beat her to death.. she was handicapped and in a wheelchair! I guess each story is different, my father beat my mother and tried to kill her... he beat my brother, and me too... among other kinds of abuse... but didn't ever go to jail for that! Well... I do get pretty fired up about this topic! There shouldn't be any kind of abuse in the home, it is supposed to be a safe, loving place to live in comfort! Dang it!

I think any man that beats his wife or any woman he should be put in a room with a bunch of woman that have been beaten ,for ten minuets.
and then tell the woman if he can walk out out of this room on his own he's free and you go to jail.
But we cant have it my way so yes FELONY!!

They should be made to wear T-shirts that proclaim the fact that they beat women. Plenty of us guys are disgusted by that wimpish, pathetic behaviour. Notice that wife beaters generally only beat women and kids, not other men. Bullies and wimps. Public shame them, let us other men say "hello" to the thugs.
