Im currently in an Independent Wrestling circuit. I am using my real name but the owner suggested i find a ring name. Anyone wanna help? My name is Slate. I am a high flyer like Jeff Hardy. I typically excel in a hardcore match. I have red hair and I love TLC matches. I weigh 170 pounds I'm 5'7 but its all mustle. If you need anymore info let me know.

My nickname is also Lockdown but I am a face in the business and I dont think that Lockdown fits the persona of a face. I was thinking James Slate but I dont know.

Slate is an actually good last name for a faux wrestling name.
Rick Slate, Brock Slate, Johnny Slate, mark Slate, Luthor Slate,
just keep trying random first names until you find something that works.
Justin Flash is a good crusierweight name but my friend wrestles under that name for independents in the southeast, so you cant have that one, but something like that would work good.
what about going with "Steele" instead of slate
like Paul Steel, or jason Steele. It's like slate but kinda catchier and people think "steel" that guy must be bad ***.

you dont have to use your name in your gimmik name or wrestling name ,, a name is your character , do somthing tough like lockdown , be someone who just got out of prison fo kiling someone at the last wrestlin job you worked at , then your opponent has ammo for prison jokes , its all about entertainment , like if your a high flyer your name can be Billy Bong the "highest" high flier in the business and your opponent has plenty of ammo , just think of one ,, its fun i used to help make gimmiks for a buddys wrestlin Sports Entertainment Xtreme S.E.X. lol it was funny , Cold Slate if you wanna use your name

I like Slate, and think you should stick with it. Just like Dave Batista only uses Batista. Slate implies something smooth, strong, hard and cold, I'd stick with it.
