Hit the darn reset button. it will automatically log whoever is on the computer off. then just log back on with your own password and login ID. we do it all the time at work because boneheads leave the computers on and locked when they go home. If the terminals are user specific then you have to go with our legal hack friend to bypass the login routine. but then again why the heck would you make terminals user specific. Very poor network administration move.

placed a Linux stay CD in the rigidity. turn the pc off. enable it sit down for a minute. turn it on and boot from CD. If it nevertheless has issues, you've undesirable hardware, and that i advise that you're taking it to a restoration save. If no longer, attempt booting from the puzzling rigidity, yet boot into secure Mode. deploy an anti-virus application (or only run a conveyable application from CD or flash rigidity) with a sparkling (lower than 24 hours old) archives get carry of, and enable it do an finished experiment.

hey it is a legal hack so I'll tell ya. Reboot your system then hit f8 a couple of times until you see a list of options, safe mode as being one of them. Go to safe mode press enter.
Remember "blank" is the default for all passwords in safe mode, so if it comes up at any time just hit enter.
Now when you get at your desk top,go to control panel, then go to user accounts. and do what ever you want change the pass, make a new account make yourself the Admin.
This is my best answer cause it is the only answer
:)
Hope this helps
