Definitely spoken. Although written words could mean so much as well because it shows that the person took the time for you. I have a friend that still sends me post cards that she fills up completely, even the back cover. It's refreshing!

i guess i would have to say words that are written. there are so many beautiful books and poems that have been written that i think really capture someone's soul more than the spoken word. the written word also takes so many beautiful forms--poetry, novels, lyrics to a song, etc., and these words can be shared and enjoyed for generations to come.

Depends on who's speaking.
I'd say the words that are written. I can go back and read them every time I want to.
