Tea with lemon and honey, Something cool like orange juice or if that's too rough, any other juice or water. Any good throat lozenge. But if it lingers get to a doctor, you might have strep and that's nothing to fool around with.

Try gargling with salt water - physician's commonly prescribe this for discharge instructions in the hospital. Or drinking/eating dairy products such as Milk or Ice cream. It helps to soothe the throat.

Hot tea with honey. Not only soothing, but also quite yummy. Don't give honey to infants or toddlers though.

Lemon with honey and lemon is my favorite way. Other people use hot chocolate. Then there's the typical throat lozenge or spray.

Drink mix hot water with Honey and lime..... not a lemon!!! Lime. Honey and Lime. Lime is the green one. Make sure you use Lime. Lime is the green one, not the yellow one. Use Lime and Honey and mix with hot water. Also gargle with salt water and dissolve Asprin in there. Have plenty of fluids. cranberry juice and grapefruit juice.
