My boyfriend and I have been dating for about 7 months and have been friends for a long time. We see each other for a few hours about once a week. He's very shy and rarely makes any moves at all. Yesterday when he came over things heated up a bit, more than usual (not sex). I enjoyed myself and he seemed to be too, but afterwards he kept apologizing, although I assured him it was fine. He was really quiet for the rest of the day and left in kind of a rush a few hours later. When I sent him I text that said "I love you" he didn't reply. When I picked up my sister tonight from work, I saw him inside and smiled, but he just looked really serious.

He always tells me I'm "different" from other girls, since I always make it a point to carry myself like a lady and I am not "easy" like the other girls I hang out with.

I don't really get it. Did I do something wrong?

For the record, I'm 19, he's 20.

He probably feels bad about whatever it was he did. He wants to respect you and he's scared he crossed the line. You need to talk to him and reassure him that what you did was great and that he did nothing wrong because it definitly seems like he feels bad about it. I really don't think you did anything wrong...

It doesn't sound like either of you did anything "wrong", but it does seem that this is bothering you. Maybe you both need to sit down and talk about what happened and why. Maybe he is having trouble dealing with his feelings and the fact that he views you as a "lady".

FYI (and the boyfriends too) Ladies have those feelings too!

Lol, it always is hard to put that part of yourself out there. I am not that young and I still have a hard time with it. Good luck, and keep talking it out together.

nicely it does sound like you've been being an ***. you've been not even relationship and also you obtain jealous then you actual get in fights consisting of her once you've been less than the impact of alcohol. per chance you should call her and actual make an apology then per chance she will be able to consult you again.

It can be very hard to know what's going through his mind. Its very admirable to hear that you care enough to ask.

If he is a gentlemen, he may be worrying that he is taking advantage of you. Even if thats not true, you should appreciate the fact that he wants whats best for you (from what i can tell).

Try and talk to him, ask him if anything was wrong, he would know better than anyone here.

God Bless you both.

You have not done anything wrong.....

He's obviously a little mixed up right now over something and whatever it is he doesn't feel it is appropriate to tell you abut it.

Maybe he's just having troubles verbalizing his feelings for you.
Perhaps he is having troubles going from 'friend' to 'more-than'..

Who knows?

He is scared to death of commitment. He probably felt like things went to far and to fast. Just take it slow and keep open the friendship. Hopefully he will come around.

Sneek and move your little ships around so as you play Battleship he really thinks he did sink your Battleship.
