You can get a work permit that your parents will have to sign. There are some places that will hire 14 year olds as bus boys. It usually pays pretty well. Other than babysitting this is all I can think of that most kids can do. Farmers do hire young kids to detassle corn here in Iowa. You might offer yourself out to someone who has a farm and may need help with horses, or crops. I worked in an onion field when I was young.

Not sure what the age is to be able to work in your state. But in some states you can work with "working papers". Usually the amount of hours are limited and sometimes the days of the week. Like only weekends. My first job was working in a restraunt. I made pretty good money busing tables. It's minimum wage, but not bad when you don't have any bills to pay and it's just spending money.

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

1st check with the employment office for the state. it varies from state to state. usually you just need a sign consent form from your guardians, but don't forget....uncle sam at the end of the year. but, the answer is yes...ypu should try some restaurant jobs. bussers and cooks.....they'll end up giving you tips which you don't necessarily have to report to taxes. also, just a farm hand or paper delivery or a telemarketer.... all are good paying jobs. you will meet so many wonderful people and possibly find your calling. good luck.

Ask your school for a work permit. Or if they help you get one from an organization in your area. but your gardian has to approve and sign it. And not all states have it. You might have to start old school. Like mowing lawns, shoveling walkways & driveways, walking/ bathing dogs, maybe grocery delivery for the elderly.

Attention Joe C:
Yes, damn those liberals, with their minimum age laws, taking away the 7 year old's right to work!!! I mean, children shouldn't have a childhood! Put them right to work, I say! No good young kids, learning the alphabet when they could be working 12 hour shifts in an assembly line!
