Up until you were probably at least 18, you had to consider your parents' feelings about everything you did, right?
Now you are 20. Enjoy being an adult who does not have to consider anyone else before making decisions! Take some time to be by yourself and stay up all night and play the music loud and watch the TV shows that you love and everyone else hates. Eat ice cream for breakfast. Backpack across Europe. Do all the stuff that you love that annoys other people and get some of it out of your system.
You have only the time between moving out of your parents' house and getting married (or having kids) to be selfish - don't sell yourself short.
I am very happily married now, and I wouldn't trade my hubby for all the tea in China. I'm just glad I took a few years to do what I wanted without having to discuss my money, time, or choices with anyone else.
Once you get married, your spouse is entitled to have opinions about what you do, how you spend your money, where you go on vacation, where you live, etc.
Are you ready for that? If not, do not get married yet.

My answers
-of it was just hot lustful dating with no love, then no, dont marry him. Better thangs can come.
- if it is love and you think it can be a stable marriage and you are ok with it, then go for it.
-must be some reason why you two aren't dating now. Think on it and decide
I've had worse. at 18 I was asked by a 35 year old woman from a different continent, to get married. No we did not get married though we are still good friends.

Don't marry someone until you know them on a day-to-day basis for several years. Just having 'a thing' is not a good begining for marriage.

Say no! If you are asking a forum for advice, then you should wait to date for at least a few years.

Five years is along time, but just date him and see if he is actually the one. Don't waist your money and time on something that might not be fo real.

wait before you tie the knot if you tell him you want to wait and he doesn't then he's not for you if he really loves you he will wait until you are ready this a serious thing and a big comment.
