I'm planning to switch onto a pre-paid phone plan with no annual contract in a few months and was thinking of going with Virgin Mobile simply because the plan I would need is cheaper than Cingular or anyone else I've seen so far. Only thing is, I don't know anyone who uses Virgin so I'm not sure how good their coverage is (I live in the Las Vegas area) or anything like that. So, my question is, how is Virgin Mobile's service, and would it be worth it for me to just pay a bit more and go with someone else? Thanks.

VM is very good. They use Sprint's network. If you have a friend with sprint in your area, and they get good reception, then go with VM. Las vegas is pretty good for reception anyway so you don't have much risk

virgins are better..thats what I heard you may wont get the same coverage at the begining then will get used to it and it will get better coverage. In Las Vegas is legal and cheaper too...more options for you. You can maybe pay more and go with someone else but again the cheaper the better..right? Cali and NY are twon big options too..

Wait..now Iam not sure what was the question... R we talking about the same???! lol

Virgin Mobile is OK where I live. But I live in Wisconsin not Nevada. It is cheap and has some good features though.

well, what ever you dont switch to virgin mobile i had one before thier services are not good and they charge you 25cents a min after the 1st month. there is this new phone company called "cricket" i dont know if you heard of it or not but the have different plans very afforable they have a plan for 45.00 a month and you get unlimted long distance, local calls, text messiging,3way calling, voice mail and call waiting but they have plans strating from 30.00 to 35.00 to 45.00 to 50.00 but for more information go to www.mycricket.com but you can only use it in the cricket calling areas, but you should have no problems if you travel because they now avaliable in California,Utah Kansas New York.and other sates, but its best if you go to www.MYCRICKET.COM their services is awsome and no extra chargers and their phones are very afforable from 70.00-200 so yes check that out.WWW.MYCRICKET.COM thats my new phone company.

I personally hate virgin mobile, I have it, you don't get free nights and weekends. and they only have like 30 wallpapers to choose from [I know I sound spoiled and weird] and they have like a block on WAP, exept it comes from virgin mobile. I seriously don't think you should.
