How come I have never met a guy who is sensitive and gentle??
Am I just unlucky, or there are no sensitive men any more?

A significant number of men believe that acting sensitive is not attractive. This is because females tend to look in males for signs of social dominance and high economic resources. The tendency for the female to look for these features is a byproduct of human evolution. Looking for these traits in males can increase the female's probability of survival as well as the survival probabilities of her offspring. To attract the females therefore males have to put much effort into intimidating other males and signalling high type to other females with status symbols, aggression, etc.

Sometimes they are quiet and in the shadows. I knew my current husband for several months, and saw him at his job often.He'd be sweet, give me compliments, but never really made the first move. He was so sweet that once he offered to drive my car to the front of the store, in the pouring rain, and he had no umbrella.I had to give him my number. We've been married three years, and contrary to what another answerer said, he's not gay. He's a man's man- mechanic, NRA, t-shirt and jeans, wouldn't hardly be caught dead in a suit , and he has an almost insatiable appetite. But the conversation is just as good as the sex. We are best friends, and in three years we have never even had an argument. As far as sensitivity and gentleness, I've never met a more sensitive or gentle man in my life.

My guy is very sensitive and gentle. But he can also be forceful and strong when needed. All in all, I think its hard to find a sensitive man just on the surface while meeting, its something you find later once you know him better.

Of course there are sensitive men. You probably just aren't looking in the right places. Try a library.

My husband is sensitive. They're hard to come by but don't give up. They are out there. You just haven't found the right one, yet~

Summary: They are with there boy friends and don't want to know you.
Toilet paper marketers advertise there stuff as
"Strong but gently, soft but firm"
Men don't necessarily enjoy that association either.
I dare say there are sensitive and gentle men but generally girls don't seem to want to sleep with them.

they are out there. you may have met one already but they do not show their sensitive side because they are afraid to do so. Men will appear "weak" or so they think if they cry. Trust me hun they are there......try watching old yeller with them if they dont cry at that movie then holler next.

Men are very sensitive in that they get hurt badly. Since women usually are the ones who hurt them they become self protective. They act tough to keep from getting hurt again. Women need to lighten up and get some morals/

hmm... probably cause you have to look harder now, cause most of them are taken as my boyfriend is the most sensitive guy I know! :)
