Turner is a stud and would be a starter for almost any other team if LT was hurt Turner could cary the load. Not sure if he could do it for a season but for a 3-4 weeks he would be a great fill in

Wow If LT Got Hurt in the playoffs i dont think the chargers would play as well. Lt is a huge part of there team and he is a very good RunningBack.
But Really You Cant Get To Worked Up On These Things You never know if will happen

If a player such as LaDainian Tomlinson gets inured mid-game, of course it will affect a team negatively, although I do not think they will necessarily be "screwed" as some others have said. Turner is a good RB that will start in the NFL next year, and If Rivers is on in the passing game, it can open up some running room. Clearly no back up can replace Tomlinson, but Turner had a 6.3 Rush average this year, and 6.0 Career on 157 rushes. Turner will get some nice starter's money next year in free agency, and if he does get some carries his pay will definitely increase. Playoff experience is a huge incentive for a player to have and proving himself in a replacement gig if necessary would bump up his pay check for next year.

I have to agree that the Chargers will be in deep trouble without LT. With him healthy, I don't think any team in the league except the Ravens has a chance.
Take him out and suddenly we are looking at a much weaker Charger offense, an inexperienced QB, the worst playoff coach in the history of the NFL and probably a big upset for the Pats.....

L.T. is a core player. He is a running back and a reciever. Not only that he is a leader. He keeps the team glued together.
There are too many "what ifs" in this world but if this one happens they will still play well but not enough to win games.

SD is a pretty dynamic team. I wouldn't count them out even if LDT goes down during the first offensive play on Sunday. Michael Turner is the best backup tailback in the league.

When LT gets his right ankle snapped in 4 places this weekend the Chargers will be fu*ked. Marty can't win the big game anyway.

Then, as a HUGE Patriots fan going to Sunday's game, I am going to jump up and start cheering. Redemption for Brady not making the pro bowl. (But I hope he's not THAT hurt, because I wouldn't wish a sports injury on anyone ; )
