at the end of the season...if this was your team would u rather the manager went asap rather than wait till then....i gotta say though, whether u like or dislike jose he will certainly be missed as he brings controversy & fuels up everybody in the game...i think that by doing this he keeps the game alive with the public frequently talking about it...and lets be honest, chelsea & mourinho are talked about more on this site than everybody else...

I have always maintained with all & sundry that Jose Moron rinho is a very very arrogant person that has accumalated his success at Chelsea via the funding of Roman Abrom. Granted he did have levels of success at Porto but then he did not have this "mighty than thou" ambience about him.

Some of the comments he has come out with are derserved of points deductions for the club, but the FA are such sychopants that they chose to ignore these rcomments & instead decided to fill their coffers by charging a pittance of a fine on the self-acclaimed "choosen one".

Jose is different to Ferguson & Wenger as these two genuinely made comments to derail the others thoughts & confidence, however, with Jose "self grandising, full of himself, arrogant, abnoxious" Mourinho, his vibes are that expel arrogance, hate & ignorance of decorum. I personally thinl he will be gone by Easter once it is evident that his beloved ( ? ) ( man what a joke ) will not be winning any worth while silverware ( delete league cup ).

Can anyone believe the guys stupidity & greed in asking for more ( porridge, no sorry this is not Oliver Twist, more like Jose is round the twist ) funds for transfers. All this does is further justify the fact that he has BOUGHT success to the club via funds rather than extreme team motivation & instilling a win attitude. Now the screw is turning, like any pretender to the crown you can see him absconding from his responsiblity & sheeping away.

This is not a dig at Chelsea FC or its loyal fans that have no doubt seen darker days at Stamford Bridge & years of no success ( something that I, as a Villa fan know only too much about ), after all any club & football fan in the world would love to have an owner that has done what RA has done - this is a direct dig at Moaninho to stick it out, take the criticism just as he has taken the accolades, medals, trophies, etc....

no.he wont leave chelsea.here is his full inteview.(www.chelseafc.com)

'We all love Chelsea. The fans love Chelsea for a long, long time. I love Chelsea just for two-and-a-half years but I love Chelsea.

'I want to give my best to Chelsea every day and I want to win always the next game and the next game is against Wigan. We have to be together to win that game.

'We have to forget the stories, we have to forget what the press is saying and we have to concentrate on our Chelsea because Chelsea belongs to all of us.

'It is easy for me,' Mourinho replied when asked if the stories might be a distraction from the weekend's important Premiership game.

'I don't change my mind. I am focused on my job and I try always hard to motivate people around me.

'I'm self-motivated, always at the top. I want to win and if results are not what we want, that is even a bigger motivation to fight.

'For me, no problem. I don't read the stories but I know about them because people tell me. Of course the echo arrives.

'But I am cool and I am not important, the club is important.'

'I love Chelsea as much as you all do,' he told supporters. 'I want Chelsea to succeed like you supporters do but I am not just a supporter. I am a supporter and a manager so you can imagine how much I want to succeed.'

He also talked further about the current state of the Chelsea team.
'The word I am using in my difficult English is, I think, the correct word. We are surviving.
'We are not improving, we are not playing especially good. We are not getting the best results. We are getting good enough results to survive.
'We are waiting for better days and we are chasing that. The medical department is trying its best to recover the possible players to recover. They cannot do miracles.
'I cannot do miracles as a coach. The players do their best in the positions they are playing and in the situations they are involved in at the time.

'We are in every competition with chances to succeed and the morale is positive. We look forward to the game tomorrow and hope we can win the points.'

Mourinho also tackled Chelsea's current habit for not holding onto leads in games.

'I know the reasons why,' he said. 'In this moment, we are the opposite of what we were before.

'Before we were a team that was feeling very comfortable defending so when you score and you are in the lead, you know the game is in the pocket and you feel very comfortable defending a result.
'In this moment, it is exactly the opposite. We are not strong defensively so when we are winning and the opponent is in a risky situation, attacking a lot, we are not very solid at that time.

'I was happy with the game at Villa because it was an answer in that respect.'

The result at Villa Park in the first game of 2007 was a 0-0 draw. It was Chelsea's first clean in four games.

'The team now is defending up because we have no power to defend back. We are defending up the field with a fast defensive line. That is the best way to do it because the defensive players are fast.

'We are trying to fight what we don't have at this time and what we don't have is that solid, strong defence - powerful in the air, strong in the box. So we have to play with the ammunition we have.'

our success has started.ROBBEN IS FIT, so did u see?
jose wont leave,
COME ON CHELSEA

it's totally just rumours but as you know, anything can happen in football
even though i HATE mourinho very very very much
i think his departure will bring a big change to EPL in a negative way
he's so influential and so mindlessly funny at the same time
he's so arrogant and stuff and talking about him with others is just so entertaining!
all his videos on youtube are so hilarious!!!
ok, my mouth says i want him to go but my heart says please, jose, don't go.

I don't think there will be many takers for his job when he leaves. Abramovich might as well be manager himself, as he pulls all the strings.
Mourinho is a excellent manger, and will do a great job wherever he goes.
It will be interesting to see how many fans keep going if the success of the team changes.

For someone who has spent so much money on such star players, you cant rate him as an excellent manager!
Good, yes, but there are better ones out there who nurture homegrown talents and bring out the best in them, Jose is not one of these!
As for controversy, yes, he does fuel comments from others, but let's not forget, Fergie and Wenger are good at this as well, to name but two managers in the premiership alone!

I tend to think it is "bargining chip" to let that leak out in the press. I assume his contract is up for renewal then?

If he does leave, it would no doubt spell complete and utter disaster for Chelsea. He has been brilliant in his recruiting and support of his players is unquestionable. It just would be a real sorry stinking shame.

But then again, maybe he is coming over here to L.A. to coach Becks for Galaxy? if so, tell him not to forget to bring Ballack along...... (God, I wish!)

you maybe shouldnt beleve everything you read in the sun!
i dont think he'll be in a hurry to go. lampard and terry love him and that should keep him in a job if all else fails.
i dont think he's actually a bad guy. he just needs a bit more humility about his person for me to warm to him. anyone who can @@@@ off old red nose is ok by me

i don't like the man and in the same ilk Hughes gets the Blackburn players to play hard, Jose gets the chelski mob to cheat.
