Sehwag is a useless batsman. he is inconsistent, he plays rash shots and when he does reach a century, its because of dropped catches or poor fielding. he is lucky to score a 100 whenever he does, which is very rare. such a batsman has no place in the Indian team, as we have enough talent waiting in the wings to rise to the challenge. a population of more than a billion like ours definitely have players more talented than sehwag

No, I don't think this is going to help the Indian Cricket team in any way. Although Sehwag is out of form in one dayers, his shear presence will make the bowlers go crazy. He's always a challenge to bowl to and when he is having a good day, he can take the match away from the opposition.

I'm not taking away the fact that there are some good players like Sachin and Dravid, but you need more hitters like Sehwag and Yuvraj to stay competetive in the World Cup.

It certainly won't be good for the Indian team. Virender Sehwag is a primal talent whose rough edges make him all the more appealing. Though his form wasn't good he was an essential component for the Indian team. Especially for putting pressure on the opposite bowlers. He has accomplished alot in cricket and one innings can make a diference to his form.
