I believe sasser or anything that causes lsass.exe to crash. In the end it could be any program causing this problem remotely or a local file.

1) Old power box.
2) Something wrong in BIOS.

There are 2 types of shutdowns.
a) shutdown with countdown
b) instant restart

If shutdown with countdown happen, immediately go to start and then click run. Here type cmd. Command windows will appear. Here type "shutdown /a". Shutdown will be aborted.

Instant restart is due to old motherboard.

Sounds like a virus my friend. Try restarting your computer in safe mode and fixing it from there.
