I clean my brushes with a gentle shampoo like baby shampoo. I have a lot of brushes, so I soak them in warm water and shampoo in the sink for about five minutes, and then swish them around a little bit. Then I rinse them off and squeeze out the water (gently), and then I put conditioner on them for a minute or so and rinse again. To dry them, I lay a washcloth on the dresser, and lay the brush handles on the cloth and let the bristles hang over the edge of the dresser a little bit to help them dry a little faster. I do this whenever it seems like my makeup isn't going on as smooth as I would like, and that's different for everyone. There's no hard and fast rule about how often you should clean them.

Hi, depending on how many times you apply make up, say for exsample every day, you should try to clean them once every fortnight. You never leave make up brushes in any liquid to soak as i causes the glue to loosen, and the bristles fall out. And if you have paid a small fortune for them you dont want that to happen!. The best way to clean your brushes is individually swirl the brush on a new cake of damp soap, then making swirls or circles on the back of your hand, (you will see the colours of your make up actually come out), you do this till no more colour comes out meaning they are clean. You must rinse off the soap and gentle reshape your brushes, i place mine on a hand towel and in an open space to dry naturally.Such as the kitchen bench. Hope this helps.

Soak them in warm water and Detol or your shampoo for about half an hour, rinse with normal water and let them air dry. You should clean them every 3 to 4 weeks depending on the usage. good luck.
