Yes it is legal. Usually it is a general rule of thumb that if the pay date falls on the weekend then it will be on the following Monday. However, it has be known if it falls on Saturday then the paydate would be Friday and if it falled on Sunday then the paydate would be on Monday. You should reference the Company policy on what the procedures are if the pay dates fall on the weekend.

Depends on the policy of the company. Some will pay the Friday before, some the Monday after.

Yes, it is legal. They cannot pay early (on Friday if the actual paydate falls on Sat or Sun) The funds will not be released until the actual paydate or the first business date after.

nothing wrong with that. checks are dated the next business day. to pay you on friday would mean to pay you prior to doing work.

If it's the weekend, the banks really can't do anything with it anyways.

if you're really concerned about it you can call the Texas Workforce Commission and ask them, they'll have a definite answer.

legal.
They have to pay you, they don't have to pay you on a weekend. They could pay you a week later, if the chose to.
