why are all video games so easy no game i have played except for final fantasy 7 was ever a challenge

You've obviously never played any games then. Halo 2 campaign on legendary was difficult when you were faced against Jackal snipers and against Tartarus. Gears of War is challenging on insane. Ninety Nine Nights is challenging, mainly the bosses but it's still challenging overall. Other games such as Kameo and The Hobbit test your wit. You just have to choose the right game and the right difficulty.

Play Medal of Honor European Assault for the PS2 on hard. I dought that you will ever get past the last boss. Even on easy he is near impossible.

Final Fantasy 7 is one of the easiest rpg's I've played (although it is one of the greatest), so you might just be choosing the wrong games...
