They are brand-name clothes that have not met the quality requirements of the brand they represent and are then sent off to stores like TJ Maxx as rejects...the items could be rejected for any reason, such as the denim was bleached beyond a certain measure, or one leg is shorter than the other...these defects are barely noticeable to our eye. Or maybe we'd just like to overlook it!

They are slothes that have imperfections on the; sewn incorrectly, discoloring, whatever. These are most of the clothes you buy from the Ross or TJ Maxx type stores. The other types of clothes these stores sell are returned clothes at department stores, old lines of clothes that never sold at the departments stores, and there are other reasons.

Clothes that aren't quite up to the standards of the manufacturer. Mis-dyed, mis-hemmed, etc. If something was wrong with it, however slight, it's rejected. Even if it's something as silly as the pocket was sewn onto the wrong side of the T-shirt.
You know.. you could have googled this.

rejected clothes i would think are when they come off the assembly line they are sewn incorrectly and or seams don't match up or the color is off.

these are the clothes that are not cut right, or they are not sewn right. In other words they are the ones that are not made right for the public to wear.

i believe rejected choltes are the types most people would not choose for one reason or another

Clothes that have small things wrong with them... maybe one has a small rip,button missing,zipper doesn't work, it might be smaller or bigger than it says... that's what it means.
