Well, in most cases Stone Cold is portayed as a stronger charecter in WWE than the Rock. The Rock has always been the guy who takes all the beating when the match goes on, gets superhuman strength in the end of the match and wins it, whereas Stone Cold is capable of knocking out even three or four men at the same time.

The rock.
As a wrestling fan in the 90's and a rock and austin fan.
Austin was very entertaining. But he was a really lame wrestler.
You didnt notice during his matches because he had a ring prescence, but by the time he got famous in wwe he was a really mediocre wrestler.
Rock, however, got better with time. He didnt get lazy and stick to two moves like most famous wrestlers, he got consistantly more impressive.
