I know that it seems overwhelming right now, but repeating 10th grade isn't the end of the world. If you have to repeat it again, do. In a few years you will graduate, and can leave all that crap behind. Stay in though, you will be glad you did.

No, it isn't funny, and it's a situation that was not of your making. Moving is difficult, especially when you have to start a new school by repeating a grade. It sonds as though your tutors weren't much help. Were they regular tutors or just university or college kids who were trying to earn a few dollars by tutoring high school kids? At this point, you need some serious help. You are on medication, and are getting treatment for your depression and anxiety, now let's tackle the original problem. Ask your parents to check into a registered tutorial business -- there are Sylvan learning centers, Kumon tutors and others. You can check with the better business bureau to find out which are the best ones in your town, or you can check with a counsellor at your school. Being a tutor calls for very special training and abilities - good tutors can diagnose problems, just as a doctor can diagnose illness, and can help you correct it. Untrained tutors just confuse the situation. So ask your parents to find some qualified tutoring for you, give yourself a chance to catch up, and you'll be in good shape by the end of the school year, and ready to move on to the next grade.
Hang in there. You can do this, you just need a little help.

i'm not going to say that everything is going to be fine. i just hope that even when it is not, you still be okay and find a way through it. you have been through a lot but you gotta keep your head up. find some kind of (positive) outlet. try music, art, dancing, singing, a sport, or a join an after-school club.
i had issues growing up and at 21 i still have them because in some ways i am still growing up. i just found that when i had problems at home or at school, i needed something to distract me. i was involved in everything from theater to stepping to being a club president. eventually, i was able to focus on doing well in school because i had other things to look forward to.
even now, as a college senior things can get stressful and sometimes i just go for a drive and play my favorite songs on repeat and sing, dance, act a fool until the stress goes away.
good luck :-)

I feel like you are telling me about what happened to me in High School. I went to a new school halfway thru 10th grade and fell behind immediately. I started not to care, hated the phoney kids in my school and eventually got diagnosed with bipolar. Thought I was going to kill myself, I turned to drugs and started doing a lot of x and eventually dropped out. Looking back, I wish someone told me to breathe. Take a deep breath and take stock of everything going on. Make a list of everything that is bothering you (doesn't matter if it 10 pages long). Then take a deep breathe. Look at your list and start with number 1. Ask yourself how you can solve this issue. Then work at it. Then move on to 2, When you have a full plate like you obviously sound like you do, you need to take it one step at a time. Taking on too much will make you feel like your drowning. Do you have someone you can ask for help? Maybe meet with teachers after school to help you prep for your tests? Or ask for an extention on the test... just to get your head straight.
There is also something else if all else fails. I don't want people to tell me this is awful for telling you this, but its the truth. Drop out and get your GED. I finally got my GED after I rehabbed from the drug use. Now that I am in a professional job (I am a successful real estate agent) I can tell you NO ONE has ever asked to see my high school diploma. Not one person I applied for a job has told me that I couldn't have the job because I only have a GED and not a diploma. I did go to college, but after I cleared my head.
Your first priority in life is to take care of yourself. If you feel like your breaking down from stress, consider a GED. Talk to your mom or whoever is your guardian and honestly discuss it. Its not the right choice for everyone, but I know it was the right choice for me.
I hope this helps.

Is there anyone who can home school you? What about an alternate school? Have your parents talk to your counselor or go to the school board and see what options are available to you. Please don't give up. There are many ways to get your education but people simply aren't aware of them. Night school may be another option.

talk to your parents and your school councilor about going to continuation school, you can work at your own pace and it's alot different, and you get a high school diploma and everything, I did and it was alot better for me, I graduated late but I finished and went to college also
