I had to pick my own switch off the tree.. and then get wooped with it! ouch!! I deserved it many a time ...

The belt or picking your own switch from a tree. Both would hurt so bad.

so many times i cant count them all. he used a belt about 1 inch wide-- boy was it ruff-- he also had a 1by 4 with a handle on it that had lots of holes that would suck up a backside. there were times i couldnt sit for hours. i suppose i was kinda out of line growing up. i would rather mom whip me than dad.

nope, he did worse things, called LECTURES! Sigh, there were times I WISHED he'd hit me! But nope, lectures was all I got. Sit down, hear him go on and on about what I did wrong. Get it from my mom. THEN go to the Bible, find something about my sin, and then write a paper about it. Read it to the WHOLE family at the dinner table! Oh yeah, believe me, thats a fate worse than a spanking!

haha, yes i have been hit but not with a belt with a plastic hanger until it broke. i got hit so many times that eventually i was used to it. it didnt really hurt anyways

Dad was gone, but I remember two incidents. Once, Mom took the razor strap to me, and once, my big brother took his belt.
Both times, it was the same offense. I didn't come home when I was supposed to.

Yep! Sure did! That hurt like hell too. Also Mother whooped us with a Switch, that we had to pick off the tree, ourselves! *Yikes* I sure don't miss "those" days, yet I did deserve the few whoopings I got!....*Smiles* â¥

yip... i got the buckle of the belt on my bare behind from my mum and as a result of that i never hit my kids !
