There are no laws against it, but it will still be difficult just to get the ineterview and you would have to prove yourself during th interview if you got one. When you work for the city, county, state, whatever they do extensive background checks and a criminal record is usually not good but is overcomeable.

you've a puzzling time searching any employment even as the corporation you're interviewing with reveals out that you're a felon. The question about being convicted of being a felon is on each employment software I truly have ever filled out.
