my friend and i were seeing each for a brief time but shes too independent and only seems to achnowledge me whenever she wants...she calls me more when we arent dating. she also knows alot of dudes and im not a big fan of that, so i decided to walk away. now when we are together she hits on me but i cant do anything and its awkward between us...what is the best thing i can do now, i feel i walked away b/c she doesnt seem to want to compromise even thou i do..help?!

she still sings to me and everything but when i talk to her bout things she seems to blow them off too.

Talking and compromising make up a part of a relationship. Tell her honestly how you would like to see your relationship go. If she can't or won't do this small thing for you, you will have an obvious answer that you will not miss.
Blessings on your honest attempt to reconcile this situation.
By the way, it should be taken as a compliment to you and her about the other guys looking at her. I know it's difficult as a guy to not get angry but you have to. As long as there is no "touch feelly" going on, there's no harm if your communication is working.
