It seems that winter is never gonna come and this is the first year I'm hoping for alot of snow. Is this gonna be the normal climate for now on?

At the rate temperatures are going so far in 2007, snow in Indiana is not an impossibility. I was in Indianapolis to visit family right before Christmas, and if the temperatures are anything now like they were then, there's no hope. I was expecting it to be a lot colder, and a lot more snow, and a lot less rain.

I answered the a question like this a couple of times so I'll give you the same answer:

No Indiana will definetly not get a good snowfall this year looking at current weather patterns. This is the effect of global warming which is caused by the burning of fossil fuels such as gas and coal and the clearing of trees. Clearing trees increases carbon dioxide levels and scientists believe carbon dioxide levels will double before 2050 to 750 parts per million.

And no, strictly it shouldn't happen but there are too many pollutants in this world. Some people however believe this is a natural process for us to get crazy weather which will eventually turn back to normal.

In fact, January 2006 was the hottest January on record in Toronto. I however believe this is nothing to freak about and some people *cough* tree-huggers *cough* are too concerned over this issue. One thing is certain however, don't expect too many white Christmases from now on.

I think Indiana will get some real snowfall before Winter runs out. There is a possibility of more snow or more rain than you want in the near years. And certainly !!! There will be tornadoes....

Without knowing where in IN you live, I couldn't get you a more specific forecast for your location, but here's the forecast for Indianapolis:

Good chance of snow (flurries, anyway) Monday/Tuesday. Then note that you won't get above 32F for the rest of the work week.

Why on earth would you want snow?
It's cold and wet.
Nasty.
You should move. Really, there is no reason to put up with that.
