My Girlfriend and i have been having sex now for about 8 months. She doesnt really keep track of her period too well, and it kind of concerns me. She's due for her period soon maybe 1-7 days. She already thought she started it yesterday when she had a little dark bit of blood come out. So she used a tampon and when she changed it a couple times she noticed that there was only a little bit of blood on it and only the darker blood that comes later in her period. So were not sure whats going on, because now she realizes shes not on it and we dont know when or if its coming. Her last period ended early or it didn't bleed as much she said so we think that it may just be a discharge of old menstrual blood. Not sure though, Please reply if you have any helpful information.

Okay well the size difference between me and her differs a good bit but it was a week maybe 2 weeks ago since we had sex so could she bleed now from that, we plan on getting a test, its just we wonder if its anything serious

The menstrual cycle can be very irregular and even if a woman has a consistant period many many things can change that. Depression, stress, illness, birth control, medication.. a LOT of different things can effect her period.
I don't think she is pregnant, rather, i think it's just irregular.
Buy a pregnancy test to ease your worries (read the instructions because if you take it too soon or do it wrong you may get false results)
She might want to consider keeping track of her period for future precaution and also have a health check with her doctor to make sure it's not a medical reason causing this.

Get a test you can pick one up for about 10 bucks at a drug store the are right 99% of the time. Every one is diffrent and every pregnancy is diffrent. My first one I had a regular period for 2 months, my second I spoted, and my last one no period at all.

Have her take a pregnancy test 5 weeks after her last period.
Until then you guys will be speculating and worrying. Relax and wait, or go to the doctor.

yea spotting is either a sign of to rough of sex or possible baby implanting or possible current pregnancy, i would say just wait it out a few more weeks, if she goes well past he period time, you need a test! and possibly congrats?!?

IT could be implantation blood go get a pregnancy test. it doesn't have no harm in checking. good luck

well she might be and might not be.
u cant take a test and see thats all for now.
or if not wait til she thinks her next period is commig and if it doesnt come then she is!

She should just go to the doc and have it checked out.
