Everytime I shop at abercrombie, I always get asked if I work there even when I'm not wearing A & F clothes. Like the last week I was there I got asked five times with questions like:

Exscuse me, do you have the keys or can ask someone to open up another dressing room?

Excuse me, do you work here?

Excuse me, do you have this in a smaller/larger size?

Excuse me, can you help me out with something?

etc.................................

Would this make me a future potential employee at A &F?

I also mailed and emailed my resume to A & F this week. Do they usually respond to mail-ins/emails, or do I have to go to the store in person to apply? How are the interviews conducted, is it mostly personal or group interviews? What are the questions that they usually ask? And when a male applies for a position there, during the interview, do they take into consideration to see if he's very muscular, trimmed, and good looking, etc....???

well, i'm only 15, but u have to be at least 17 to work at abercrombie. i went in there once and two girls and their mom came up to me and asked if i knew where they could find "camouflage pants"! i surely don't look like someone who works there! u have to be at least alittle bit good looking, i think. but today i went into american eagle outfitters and a fat girl was working the fitting rooms. they hire more average people i think. try ur chances...who knows?

with all retail jobs, it is better to go to the store and fill out the application. this way the manager on duty will get a chance to meet you and this increases your chances of getting the job. it is usually a group interview. and with A & F, they definitely take into consideration your looks. after all, you aren't a "sales associate" you are a "brand model" which means you sell the clothes by making them look good.
