A great deity creates a vast universe. On one world of that universe, he places living things. The dominant species... we will call them people... make babies... vilages... towns... cities... nations. They also do a lot of bad things. They murder. Rape. Pillage. Plunder. So, the great deity sends his child onto the world, so his child might love among people, and maybe even teach them the error of their ways. Some of the people listen, and follow this "god child". Before long, news of this new person reaches the officials, and they have the "holy person" executed. The spirit of the child of the great deity fights evil incarnate, frees a bunch of trapped spirits, and returns to the people as a demigod. They tell the people a few things that will happen later in the future, bless a few people, and ascend to their father's kingdom, to sit by his side.

The first person with the "right" answer will get the 10 points for best answer.
