ok is this a mental disorder or what, i think of my friends as nothing more than company at school, but when im not around them i think nothing but terrible and negative thoughts about them. I have tried to think positive and i just make it worse by telling myslef that its all a lie and they are nothing to me, some of my friends im ok with when i get around them physically, like person to person, but when im not i hate them? and could give a crap about them?

okay come on nothing is wrong with u it happens to all of us. sometimes we feel like we don't like our friends and want new ones. trust me it has happened to me before. there are thing me and my friends don't do and i really wished i had friend do these thing with but you know what you'll find someone who you'll care about sooner or later and then all this will not matter. you won't always have the same friends and maybe you can get to understand your friends better. i won't say if it doesn't workout try to make new friends b/c we all know it's easier said than done. once you get settled in with a certain group of people it's hard to leave and join other people. but come on u have your whole life ahead of you and good things will happen and once you leave this school you'll make new friends and hopefully you'll like em more. but one day we are all meant to be independent!!! and there will come a time in life when friends may not be that important b/c you'll have different things to focus on. when u really feel bad just think about how you would want life to be and how you would want ur future to be and sometimes it can make ur happy! i think about how i want certain things to be all the time and it gives me new hope to live and happiness!! i hope u cheer up soon and i hope i have helped u at least a little. good luck :)

Hmmm..."name the disorder" is not the best game to play. Having said that, you sound a tad paranoid. "i think nothing but terrible and negative thoughts about them..." you are projecting negative attributes onto them that perhaps YOU own instead? If these feelings persist, talk to a school counsellor. You sound very young: this is not a healthy way to feel. You don't want for this to become too deeply engrained as a way of thinking, as a way of LIFE.
EDIT: Personality disorders are not diagnosed until the individual is AT LEAST 18 years of age, You are 16: too young to be diagnosed with a personality disorder.

It can be one of many neurotic anti-social disorders. On the surface it would seem to be an issue with anger and self loathing.
That is evident by the way you demean yourself in the question.
You say you don't care about them but you care enough to take the time to compose this question.
That says that you are concerned over your thoughts.
It's a little more complex an issue than any simple answer could properly address. There's even a hint of family involvement or influence on your train of thought.
I hope you are able to get past it but you may want to seek out counselling to help you deal with your feelings.

Well, it's not a mental disorder, but it may be a personality disorder. What's the diff you ask? Well, mental disorders could be thought of as a bit more organically based and usually more acute than a PD (though there are usually stressors that bring them on - life's pressures), i.e, depression, anxiety, etc. Personality disorders are incorrect ways of learning to cope with life. Which is harder to treat? Unfortunately for you, it's personality disorders. See a therapist to have them help you figure out which one your experiencing (my guess, with the info you give, is Borderline Personality Disorder).

I can't accurately diganose you from just reading your brief description of oyur feeling about your friends, but I do think there's a pretty good chance you may have Borderline Personality Disorder, or BPD. Go ahead and read up on it and see if you think the symptoms sound familar. BPD is marked by an absence of compassion or empathy towards others, and also by a need to control or manipulate, often while doing damage to others, but without feeling any remorse.

This is no mental disorder. It is just growing up. Slowly you will gain maturity and you will be able to understand your negative thoughts and be able to judge correctly. Dont you worry. Everyone goes through these stages in their childhood.

get new friends.
if you have have problems getting new friends cause you are not too social, then the people you hang around with now are not your friends, just people you're wastig time. So, it's ok to find flaw in them if this is the case.
There is only one answer--get new friends, then you'll know if it's them or if it's you who has the problem.

If they haven't wronged you in anyway then maybe your affected by some form of depression related to social stress? It may also be an emotional disorder, you may do well to seek professional help.

self-mutilation isn't a disease, that's a symptom or a behaviour which will be cutting-edge in everybody of countless issues. if you're self-harming, you somewhat favor to get specialist help. don't be so wanting to label your self with a analysis!
