I am a Filipino and I don't see the point of celebrating Halloween. There's nothing to cheer about gores and gothic. If we want a costume party, we make it happen anytime of the year. We have a holiday on Nov. 1 though, it was declared a holiday so we would have time to visit or commemorate family members or relatives who have passed away.

In the Philippines Halloween is celebrated on November 1st.
Naw, we don't wear costumes or anything. We go visit the tombs of our lost loved ones, clean them, bring flowers, light candles, etc.

In general Philippines do not celebrate Haloween simply because we celebrate ALL SAINTS DAY in honoring our love ones that passed away which to me a much better celebration than dressing up and ask for a piece of candy .
