Edema could be a symptom of anything from a MRSA or other infection in a limb to congestive heart failure to kidney failure to God knows what.....best to SEE A DOCTOR!!!

SO? If you push in where you are retaining fluid does the place where you pushed remain indented? If so that is generally called pitting edema and requires rather immediate medical attention...if we are talking too much salt(cheese/eating fast food and pizza) along with alcohol before your period then lots of water along with some b- vitamins/ celery/melon/grapes/ and NO salt will help...as will starting your period...

edema or just a little bloated? there is a big difference..for bloating I eat celery and drink water with fresh squeezed lemon added..both are natural diaretics....as for edema..entirely different medical problem and should not be treaty lightly....seek a doctors advice...

none, try cutting out all salt, and drinking decaf tea. you probably need to go get blood pressure meds if you aren't pregnant.
