They are tie with 2 more. Pink Floyd,Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith are all so awesome!! Pink Floyd's Pigs album is my favorite.

no such thing as best band ever every one is different. But in being a prog rock band and combinding lots of other styles with rock they did an awesome job at being creative.

best band ever is a pretty strong statement, but they are without question one of my favorite of all time, and about the only band that i wont' EVER change the radio station on when i hear them.

I'd say they were number three. Classic rock is my thing, but I'm more into Zeppelin and AC/DC, but Floyd is definately number three.

certainly one of the best. the lines get fuzzy at that altitude. still they were possibly my all time favorite band, and i've liked them since the start.
