Stick to the NCAA and/or Olympic style stuff, the amateur bouts, they are usually divided into "Greco-Roman wrestling" and "Freestyle wrestling".
If you want something a little more martial-artsy, without having the hype of the UFC going on in the background, look into "Judo Tournaments" or something called "Russian Sambo", which is also spelled "Sombo".
Hitting those four things in quotes will get you plenty of competitive grappling with as little hype as humanly possible, and yes, *real* competition as opposed to an exhibition or a show. All you have to do is enter the phrases in quotes, *with* quotes, in a Search Engine.
Oh, you may wish to include the phrases "martial arts" or "competitive grappling" in your search. And if you use Yahoo or Google Advanced Search and *exclude* terms, try excluding the phrase "Best of" as that will get rid of quite a few spam-bait pages.
Are there others out there? Yes, but they aren't as common, and are more likely to be acquired tastes, like pre-BJJ Sport Jiu-jitsu and such....
Hope this helps, and have a good one! ;)

Actual sport wrestling events- high school, college, olympics, etc.
Don't confuse the actual sport with sports entertainment. Sports entertainment technically isn't "fixed" because it's not the actual sport. That would be like saying the football games in Any Given Sunday were fixed (outcome scripted, injuries planned, etc). It's a movie about football, not an actual NFL football event. Same with sports entertainment wrestling.

Usually high school and college wrestling matches are for real, one of my younger brothers was one wrestling team when we were in high school and it was for real. I don't watch pro wrestling, I do believe that it is mostly fake.

Ultimate Fighting Championship: UFC. it's REAL fighting w/o storylines and fake punches. Also, PRIDE is the Japaneese version of UFC.
