I've gone from Napster to Kazaa to WinMX to DC++. Now I can't get DC++ to work because my apartment has a firewall, which i can't open ports on. So, what do you guys use to download music and movies?

Limewire and uTorrent. It all depends if your apartment's firewall has those ports blocked. If your apartment knows what they are doing, then they would only open 4 or 5 ports that are used for e-mail servers, FTP, HTTP and HTTPS. They are doing this so they can protect themselves, so they can't be sued by the RIAA or software companies.
