I just took a 3 hour exam that required writing constantly. There were 10 short definitions, 5 short answer and 2 long essay answers. I wrote 2 bluebooks which are 16 pages each. My hand is ready to die now.

My hand used to cramp up after any exam as well. Our high school actually taught a "penmanship" course which we actually "re-learned" how to write. The methodology actually is to keep your fingers and wrist just holding the pen light enough just to support and feeling relaxed. You will not be individually moving your fingers or your wrist or the pen.

You rest your arm on the table with your elbow totally off of the table. The "flabby" part of your arm just about 1 - 2" past your elbow (heading towards your wrist) is the area you move your whole arm on that area (without lifting your arm!).

You have to move the paper or bluebook, therefore, to accommodate where your hand with your pen should be to write on the appropriate line.

This takes a little practice and does feel definitely awkward to start with, but in the long run, with practice during the rest of the year, your writing actually improves using this method and your wrist/fingers do not tire at exam time.

The schools should have kept on teaching this really neat methodology. I have been writing like this for the past 20 years or so, especially for those long letters that I still enjoy writing, being more personal to a typed version. I have to admit though for the very short little notes or my signature, that I do revert to the "old style" of writing moving my fingers and wrist.

Hope this helps.

confident, OH GOD confident. Why do you think of even the sensible little ones ***** approximately essays? here in Australia, until that's significant, I the two type it, or do not do it. If I would desire to do an essay on geography by typing, i'm going to particularly actually make it 30+ pages. If I had to write down some thing on geography, you will get an internet site, an internet site and a a million/2 max, if I even do it.
