Do I stress you out? My sweater is on backwards and inside out.
I'm not petrified of silence. I sort of like it at times. Much like Alanis Morissette.

I am not petrified of silence. My work environment is often very noisy. Sometimes I like to come home and not turn on sound makers. Silence in conversation is okay too. If my house is silent, I can hear if anything is going on in the yard or neighborhood.

Silence is so silent it sounds loud, like a ringing. Kind of an oxymoron, huh? But, it's true. I don't like it when I'm alone or when I'm in a quiet part and have nothing to talk about. But, before bed I do like it, only when right about to fall asleep. If not, I have TV on and door shut because it's freaky. I like quiet, with a the sound of a comp or fan running. Makes me feel good and safe and I can think.

For the most part I enjoy silence, with a three year old every moment of quiet is reveled in. Yet, until very recently when my electric bill soared past 100 dollars, I could not sleep without some form of white noise ( i.e. a fan, a heater ) The quiet allowed me too much time to think, my forever rambling thoughts would keep me awake.
Suffice it to say after the electric bill arrived, I'm learning to deal with it!

I love silence.
Dont get me wrong, i too, want to know whats going on around me. What i mean i guess is when im with another person, we dont necessarily have to talk. Unfortunately, many people think silence is "awkward" and whatnot. Its sad. Silence is good, especialy since im so tired all the time. I dont need someone laughing their head off at their own stupid jokes. It just grinds up my brain. ergh..
But really, silence helps me calm down.

I'm not petrified of silence! I love silence! I wish more people would keep their mouth shut until they had something useful to say. This isn't likely to happen. Fortunately, I can't hear you.

I hate awkward silences especially when there is only another person in the same room as you. It's freaking uncomfortable.
But I also like it when its so quiet its relaxing.
But then again, I hate it when its so quiet, I begin to think someone's watching me.
I can't get along with silences.
